Using an external hard drive to backup sensitive and precious information can be a high-risk way of losing data, it is unlikely to be encrypted, meaning if it was to be stolen, anybody could access those records and files within that drive. Not having a cloud backup, continues the risk of theft or damage to the external hard drive resulting in loss of data.

We work with many dental practice management software's, to ensure we are backing up the correct data. We can restore such data for you, ready for the practice management software to remote-in and reconfigure those systems for you. |

Dental Dynamix appreciates how important it is to keep a strong communication with our clients. All our data backup customers receive a clear, colour-coordinated and easy to understand report every morning stating the condition of their most recent backup.
It is normal for a backup set to fail once in a while, it could be your server was switched off, or the internet cut out during a data backup process. Whatever the reason, our helpdesk is notified every morning through our extensive backup management console. With direct access to your servers, we are able to remote in and rectify any possible issues, to ensure the next backup will be successful. Our team are on hand to recover your data, should the inevitable happen, simply get in touch with our helpdesk, with access to your new server and we can start to download your safely stored data. If you enrol onto our IT services with Dental Dynamix, a local backup of your data can be provided as an optional extra, meaning we can reduce the download time of your data via an external encrypted hard drive. |
